Seun Kuti, the son of the late Afrobeat maestro, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, has gone spiritual asking his ancestors to silence the enemy.
This was revealed as Seun posted on his Instagram page that, “The silence of the enemy is all we ask for, ooo dear ancestors…”
He wrote further on the Instagram page that, he did not run away from his court case as it was being rumoured that he might have escaped.
“You can breath well now; I am on my way, I no JAPA!!!” said Seun, indicating that he did not run away.
Seun was arraigned in the Chief Magistrate Court Yaba over an allegation of assaulting a police officer on May 13 on the Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos State.
He was released on bail after being detained, but Seun seized the opportunity of the window provided him to embark on concert tour abroad.
However, the court case was earlier scheduled to come up on July 3, but was stalled because Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun had embarked on her administrative leave.
Meanwhile, the Registrar of the Court has adjourned the case to September 27 to continue the proceedings.
