Both Burnaboy and Ayra Starr have made it to the playlist of former American President, Barrak Obama.
The two, being the only Nigerian Afrobeat singers included in the playlist, have confirmed their firm grip of Afrobeat music and superiority in Nigeria’s music industry.
The former American President stated in his tweet that, “Like I do every year, here are some songs I’ve been listening to this summer- a mix of old and new. Look forward to hearing what I’ve missed.”

The songs Obama would be enjoying this summer are, ‘Sitting on Top of the world’ by Burnaboy, and ‘Sability’ by Ayra Starr and many others.
Obama’s playlist, which he released recently, also included other songs by world’s renowned music superstars such as the late Tupac Shakur, Boygenius, Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj.
Burnaboy and Ayra Starr have carted home numerous award recently as they are already making wave in the ongoing Headies Award.
