The renowned Afrobeats singer, David Adedeji Adeleke, may not win a Grammy Award in a long time to come if he continues to associate with people of negative spiritual influence.
This was the opinion of the controversial Nollywood actor, Uche Madwuagu, while he was responding to some comments about the leading Afrobeats singer online.

Madwuagu saw that negative spiritual influence might be a stumbling block on the way of Davido in his efforts to grab Grammys.
According to him, the people that Davido associates with are “draining his music growth.”
He expressed in pidging, “Davido the people you surround yourself with are draining your musical growth spiritually. It is now so bad that even Buju, Tacha, Phyna, and others dey shade you…”
Madwuagu thinks that Tunde Ednut and Cubana Chief Priest are reducing Davido’s brand.
“Tunde Dey reduce your brand. Abeg what does Chief Priest do for a living again? If you continue like this, Portable go win Grammy before you,” he advised.
Davido lost all the Grammy Awards he was nominated for in 2024 when lots of his fans believed he should have clinched at least one of the nominations ahead of all his competitors.
He was already in celebration of being nominated for the most prestigious music awards, hoping he would record success by winning only for his hope to be dashed.
It could be recalled that a South African singer, Tyla, won the first Best African Music Performance award for ‘Water’ at the 2024 Grammys, ahead of Davido.
