In a recent ceremony, the National Association of Colleges of Education Students (NANCES) bestowed the National Outstanding Leadership Award upon Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, the General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation. Commending him as “an icon of peace and national development,” student leaders gathered at a modest event held in Dr. Sanusi’s office within the NFF Secretariat.
The student representatives explained that the recognition was a tribute to Dr. Sanusi’s unwavering dedication, mentorship of youth and students, diplomatic leadership excellence, contribution to human capital development, promotion of peace, and commitment to national unity, both within Nigeria and internationally.
