Tekno, Kizz Daniel on the War Path

This is not the best of time for Afrobeats as both sensational singers, Tekno and Kizz Daniel are set on the war path, resulting in the former unfollowing the latter on his social media platform.

The disafection was as a result of controversy borne out of an alleged post shared by Tekno where he claimed Daniel gave him 50 per cent of every revenue generated by the song ‘Buga,’ a duet performed by the two singers.

It could be recalled that Tekno went on social media to acknowledge the largess of Daniel who credited his account with a mouth-watering sum of over a billion Naira, being the proceed from their song, ‘Buga.’

But in a twist, Daniel berated Tekno over what he described as a baseless rumour that he received over a billion of Naira in royalties for the song.

Daniel told Tekno that he couldn’t be blabbing about ‘Buga’ after using the song to save his dead career.

Tekno replied Daniel, asking if he was making wave as he desired, and warning him not to make any mistake, otherwise he would expose him further.

Tekno reeled out a warning to Daniel in pidgin, “Hope you are trending now fool! Careful o, breeze blow foul yansh Dey open, I’m not the one to be played with. Before I Kattwilliams your Ass.”

Afrobeats has become a house of commotion of late, as both Davido and Wizkid too are drawn into a raging battle that has attracted comments from fans and influential Nigerians, as well as generated heated debate on the social media.
