A University of Ibadan (UI) candidate, Miss Busolami Fagbemi, has clinched the 2022/2023 Nigeria Group on Private International Law (NGPIL) Conflict of Law award.
Fagbemi’s winning paper entitled, “A Comparative Analysis of Product Liability In the Conflict of Laws,’ is described by NGPIL panel as an excellent piece of work, very robust, comprising Nigeria Common Law, European Union approach, English approach, and the United States of America approach.
The panel added that, ” The paper also demonstrated an understanding of conflict of law rules of product liability at a high standard.

Miss Fagbemi, however attributed her success to the efforts of her lecture, Professor JOA Akintayo who, according to her, laid a solid foundation for her in Conflict of Laws, commending the lecture for his constant guidance.
