The University of Lagos will hold its 16th inaugural lecture on April 19, 2023. It is the university’s inaugural lecture in the 2021/2022 academic session, which is expected to be delivered by Professor Olusina Joseph Olalekan of the Department of Surveying & Geoinformation, Faculty of Engineering.
The inaugural lecture, which will be held at the J.F Ade Ajayi Auditorium, is entitled Geomatics Engineering: The Enigmatography of National Development & Sustainability. It will be presided over by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Mrs Folasade T. Ogunsola.
UNILAG held its 15th inaugural lecture in the 2021/2022 academic session at the same venue on April 5, 2023 where Professor of Sociology, Olufunlayo Bammeke, advocated urgent need for government to renew existing laws and abrogate that which permit the abuse of women and children under any guise to prevent a tacit approval for violence against women and children.
