The Osun State University ( UNIOSUN) has extended its registration for the 2023/2024 post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening exercise.
According to a release signed by the Registrar of the institution, Mr G.A.A Shittu, the extension affects candidates who chose UNIOSUN as their first choice and those willing to change their institution and make the University their first choice, with a minimum score of 160 marks.
However, candidates can only apply for newly approved programs such as Computer Science Education, Industrial Mathematics, Architecture, Quantity Survey, Environmental Health Science, and Health Information Management.
Candidates can no longer register for Nursing, Medicine, Law (Common and Islamic), Medical Laboratory Science, Computer Science, English and International Studies, Theatre Arts, Public Health, Pharmacology, Radiography and Radiation Science.
Other programmes that candidates can no longer register for are Accounting, Business Administration, Political Science and International Relations, International Relations and Diplomacy, Biochemistry, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Microbiology and Mechanical Engineering.
According to the authority of the institution, candidates are to register online by accessing the University website, adding that any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission.
It also informed that the submission of the form closes on Friday, Nov. 24 by noon.
