A team from University of Alabama has commended the academic brilliance displayed by the products of the Covenant University (CU).
The commendation came as the team, led by the Head of Department of Chemical Engineering of the University, Professor Heath Turner and two other academics, paid a courtesy visit to CU.
Professor Turner, in company of Dr James Sheehan and Dr. James Harris, both also of the same department, expressed his keeness to learn what the faculty base of CU was doing that has made the University consistently produced exceptional students, as well as build a working relationship with the institution.
He said, “Having engaged with your faculty and students there is no doubt that we have mutual areas of interest in which the University of Alabama and CU can work together.”
He added that the academic leadership of the University of Alabama got to know Covenant University through the exceptionality of two of her graduate students who have displayed a usual degree of academic brilliance and have consistently improved in their work at the University.
Speaking, the Vice Chancellor of CU, Professor Abiodun H. Adebayo thanked the team for giving the management honest feedback on the performance of their alumni.
“We are committed to making this relationship work and ensuring that both institutions get the best offerings this collaboration can give,” stated Adebayo.
