For students and staff of Baze University, Abuja, who are endowed with writing talent, better days are in the pipeline as Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) Abuja solicits the assistance of the institution to allow them become members. The appeal was made when the Association, led by the Vice Chairperson, Hajiya Rukkaya Bayero, paid a courtesy visit to the institution recently.
The ANA Executives, who were received by the Registrar of Baze University, Dr. Mani Ibrahim Ahmad, disclosed further that the visit was embarked upon to specifically encourage staff and students with latent creative talents to enlist as members.
Responding, Dr Ahmad assured ANA of the support of the University in their membership drive.
ANA is a non-profit organisation that promotes Nigerian literature and represents all creative writers in Nigeria and abroad.
