The popular Afrobeat singer, Damini Ebunolowa Ogulu aka Burna Boy, has asked the media to stop publishing reports about him.
He posted on his Instagram in pidgin English that the media should meet and then decide on how much he will pay them to forget him totally.

Decrying Burna Boy’s request, Daniel Regha, a critic, wrote on his social media page that the media played a role in Burna Boy’s success and growth which he enjoys now.
He added, some news might be wrong but just like fans, Burna Boy owe the media lots of thank, saying many people won’t hear about him or his wins or projects if they hadn’t promoted him.
He however urged Burna Boy to stop acting like he is self-made, adding many people paved a way for him.
It would be recalled that the Grammy Award winning musician recently rejected a Dubai performance on grounds that he would not be allowed to smoke marijuana in the Arab country.
