The Covenant University Medical Centre welcomed Dr. Mary Stella Anidi, a Canadian medical expert, who will volunteer her services for five weeks.
Dr. Anidi, known for her extensive volunteer work, expressed her passion for caring for the vulnerable in society as the driving force behind her visit.
Specializing in Internal Medicine, Dr. Anidi appreciated the opportunity to serve at the university, citing the absence of internal medicine practitioners in Nigeria as a motivating factor for her decision. She emphasized her desire to serve, dedicate her time to God, learn, build relationships, and grow spiritually during her stay.
Dr. Ademola Adebanjo, the Director of Health Services at Covenant University, praised Dr. Anidi’s positive impact on the medical center, highlighting her interpersonal skills and good aura that would benefit both patients and staff.
He anticipated a transfer of skills that would enhance her experience as a Canadian expert.
