The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has informed the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates who sat for the optional mock examination that they could start printing their mock examination notification slips.
This was contained in the X handle of the Board, directing candidates to visit its website or any JAMB-approved CBT centres.
According to the Board, the process of printing the slip commenced on February 27, 2024.
In another development, the Registrar of the Board, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, expressed at a gathering that both failure and success could be separated.
He commented recently at Federal University Oye Ekiti, explaining that failure could be a catalyst for success.
He advised students to be diligent and as well show perseverance in their paths to success in life, adding that there was no success without drawbacks. He cited former President Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria, former President Nelson Mandela of South Africa, and former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, who, despite all odds, attained success.
He implored students to stay focused and be positive-minded to accept failure as a positive pathway to a successful life.
He used the occasion to praise the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Abayomi Fashina for the academic height the school has attained within its short time of existence.
