The Chancellor of Covenant University, Ota, Dr. Bishop Oyedepo has advocated peak learning and solution-driven reasoning for Africans in the knowledge industry.
He said this at the event organized by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) African Forum 2023, titled “Education Africa 2030 and Beyond Sustainability and Social Impact in African context.
He called on the knowledge industry to find indigenous solutions to their problems through massive investment in the education sector.
Dr Oyedepo charged further that they should be alive to chart the way forward by developing learning modules geared towards the rebirth of Africa.
The Bishop urged the professionals further at the 2-day International event that those in the knowledge industry in the continent should retrace their steps.
He identified the lack of adequate capacity utilisation of the natural endowment the continent is blessed with as the cause of the pitiable state of the black man.
African knowledge industry was also advised to become intellectually innovative and creative to redress the unfortunate situation, as according to the clergyman, ” A developed people is what results in a developed nation.”
