The Nigerian Afrobeat sensation, David Adedeji Adeleke, aka Davido, has expressed his sincere gratitude to the Professional Footballers’ Association for allowing him not only to attend the great event but also to perform at the Awards ceremony which took place in Manchester, England.
He included on his Twitter handle that, “Music and sport have always gone great together and we proved that again last night!”
However, Davido hinted in his statement on Twitter that his next performance is due for Dubai at Cocacolaarena.

Davido has made history by being the first African artiste to perform at the PFA Awards under the watchful eyes of some of the world’s acclaimed footballers.
He performed during the interlude before the biggest award of the night took place.
It could be recalled that Davido gave an impressive performance at the closing ceremony of the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) which was held in Qatar last year.
The ‘Jaye lo’ crooner ascended the Lowry Theatre stage in Manchester in his exhilarating element, reeling out his famous hit songs amid admiration from the audience that comprised international footballers who watched with awe.
