Two popular Nollywood actresses, Destiny Etiko and Uche Jumbo were almost defrauded by a scammer who pretended to be their colleague in the movie industry, Patience Ozokwo.
According to Etiko, through her official Instagram page, she almost lost N200,000 to the fraudster who was asking for financial assistance.
Etiko said the scammer had hacked into the WhatsApp platform of Ozokwo, whom she referred to as Mama G.

Advising other innocent persons, Etiko warned them to be careful writing, “Please be careful…Mama’s WhatsApp got hacked @patience Ozokwo.
“I almost sent 200k to them…But decided to tell the guy to send a voice note to confirm cos Mama has never told me such be4 and the person stopped chatting me. Pls let us be careful,” she warned
Respondent in the comment session on Etiko’s Instagram page, Uche Jumbo also narrated her experience saying she was almost duped of N300,000 by the supposed scammer.
