The Nollywood actor and producer of ‘Jagun Jagun’, Femi Adebayo will receive the MTN award at the African International Film Festival (AFRIFF) award ceremony.
This was disclosed via Adebayo’s social media page where he said that the the accolade celebrates his performance and role in ‘Jagun Jagun.’
The award ceremony slated for Nov. 11, 2023, makes Adebayo feel elated as he expressed, “I can’t wait to share this special moment with you.”
He expressed, “Jagun Jagun has been a labour of love, a project that I poured my heart and soul into, and your unwavering support has meant the world to me. This recognition wouldn’t have been possible without your encouragement and love.”
“I am immensely grateful to AFRIFF and MTN for acknowledging and I dedicate this to my team, the cast and crew of ‘Jagun Jagun’ and every other person who worked to make it a success.”
‘Jagun Jagun is a 2023 Netflix original epic Yoruba film produced by Femi Adebayo Salami and Euphoria 360 Media directed by Tope Adebayo Salami, and released on the Netflix streaming platform on August 10, 2023.
