Four Staff members of the Kwara State University (KWASU) are currently undergoing training on how to write winning proposals. According to the official handle of KWASU on X, the training is titled Research and Development Workshop and Training of Research Directors on Writing and Winning Research Proposals.
The workshop was organized by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB).
It started on Tuesday April 2, at the Federal University of Technology, Minna, and will be concluded Thursday April 4, 2024.
The representatives from KWASU are Dr Jimoh Ajadi, Dr Abdulwaheed Musa, Dr Lambe Adesina, and Professor Oluwasogo Olalubi.
The objective of the workshop is to train lecturers and research directors on writing winning proposals.
Established in 2010 under the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act, The NCDMB has championed positive developments in building local capacity within Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
It has achieved this by partnering with the academia and industry players aimed at enhancing infrastructure, development content , development strategies and promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics education initiatives.
