The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has completed the design, development, testing, and deployment of its mobile application tailored for students, aligning with the vision and mission.
This information was disclosed in a memorandum dated December 4, 2023, and authorized by Benedicta A. Otakpor (Admin Officer 1) on behalf of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Godwin Akper, responsible for Technology, Innovation, and Research.
The mobile application consolidates various segments of the school sc portal directly associated with student activities, including registration, TMA, announcements, and more, into a unified platform for enhanced accessibility, as outlined in the memorandum. Akper urged students to visit the Google Play Store and Apple Store for Android and IOS users, respectively, to download and install the application.
Emphasizing that the app serves as the official channel for information and announcements, Akper highlighted its pivotal role in keeping students informed.
The memorandum also provides guidelines for user registration: “Upon launching the app for the first time, users should select ‘create account’ to establish their profile. Subsequently, enter the created account details to log in and access the app’s features.”
Additionally, users can contribute suggestions for app improvement through a provided link, fostering a collaborative approach to enhance the overall user experience.
