NUC Commends LASU on Academic Programmes

The National University Commission (NUC) Accreditation Teams have commended Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo on the remarkable achievement it has recorded in both the Theatre Arts and Music programme and Mass Communication Studies.

This commendation is contained in a statement by the leader of the accreditation team on the Theatre Arts and Music programme, Professor Alex Osigbo, who led the accreditation assessment on Monday, Nov. 20, 2023.

Professor Osigbo remarked that he could see remarkable signs of improvement everywhere.

Professor Osigbo, who stated that he had led the accreditation team twice to LASU, encouraged the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, to continue the good work and not be tired.

Also, another three-member NUC team on the accreditation assessment of Mass Communication Studies on the same day concluded its work and reported to the VC at an exit meeting held at the VC’s Conference Room, main campus.

The team showered encomiums on the VC and management for all that they have been doing to make the assessment a success.
