To unravel the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of the deceased Afrobeat singer, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji, professionally known as Mohbad, the Lagos State Police Command has launched a full investigation that includes digging up the remains of the singer.
Raising up a Special Investigation Team, headed by DET. ACP Saheed Kassim, a thorough autopsy is to be carried out by the police.
The autopsy will embrace toxicological analysis, and histology examination of the post-mortem findings.

A visit will also be paid to the scene of the incident by the Police who will review medical records related to the case, and gather statements from individuals from whom relevant information will be obtained.
The Special Investigation Team will provide interim report within a period of two weeks after which it will submit such to the relevant authority.
Also, a legal team has been constituted to ensure that the investigation adheres to the law, and that justice is served.
