The Afrobeat singer, Divine Ikubor aka Rema, has got another international recognition as Billboard awarded him the Best Afrobeat Song on Sunday in the United States of America (USA).
Rema’s ‘Calm Down,’ which has recorded tremendous multiple streaming and chart records, earned him this latest accolade.

While expressing his gratitude to his fans, the singer referred to the prize as “a celebration of unity and the global domination of Afrobeats.”
Likewise, the Grammy Awards winner, Burna Boy, was awarded the Best Afrobeat Acts by Billboard.
Accepting the award on Sunday, Burna Boy said, ” This is dedicated to Africa and every artist coming out of Africa now.”
