UNILAG Gets a Boost in Research, Innovation

It is a re-assuring moment for the University of Lagos as Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) reiterated its commitment to the continued support for research and innovations at the University.

This word of assurance came from the Director General, Economics, Science and Technology at FCDO, UK, Kumar Lyer, when he and his team paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Folasade Ogunsola recently.

The working visit took Lyer and his team to inspect the operations of Project Innovation to market (12M) a project conceptualised and managed by the Innovation and Technology Management Office (ITMO) as managed by Dr Gbenga Ilori.

Project 12M is a pioneering initiative funded by UKAID’s Research and Innovation Systems for Africa for Africa (RISA) till 2025.
