West African Examination Council, WAEC, has extended registration for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE, till Friday, January 26 2024.
According to information available on the WAEC website www.waeconline.org.ng closing date for the generation of PIN is Tuesday, January 23 2024, at all WAEC-accredited banks, WAEC offices and WAEC-approved agents.
The objective questions will be fully CBT. Interestingly both the essay and the test of praticals will be hybrid where the questions will be displayed on the screen and candidates will capture the answers on paper. This is to reduce incidences of examination malpractices prevalent in the country.
The examination fee is N27,000 plus N500 bank/agent commission and candidates will need biometric features for validation at examination centres.
WASSCE Private Candidates Examination is conducted by WEAC twice annually between January and February for the first series and the second series comes in August and September the same year.
This is to enable candidates to choose an examination period that will be convenient for their schedules. Prospective candidates can visit www.waeconline.org.ng for further clarification.
