Adesoye College Ofa, situated in Kwara State, recently observed the 6th anniversary of the Founder’s Memorial Day in honour of Chief Emmanuel Olatunji Adesoye.
The commemorative event, held within the school premises, featured various activities that highlighted the life and contributions of the late Adesoye, whose legacy continues to resonate within the school community.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. B. Lawal, Head of Administration, reflected on the enduring qualities of the late Chief T.E. Adesoye, describing him as a figure of unity and kindness in all his interactions. Lawal emphasized that despite his physical absence, Chief Adesoye’s spirit endures through the lasting impact of his principles, serving as a source of inspiration and solace for all.
Engr. Oluwagbemiga Adesoye also shared personal anecdotes, captivating the school community and guests in attendance with memories of the late founder.
Concluding the celebration, a memorial football match unfolded between Adesoye College FC and Offa Grammar School, concluding with a 3-1 victory in favour of ACFC.
Established in January 1987 by Chief Emmanuel Olatunji Adesoye, Adesoye College is a co-educational institution dedicated to providing quality education to students from across Nigeria and overseas.
