Akon Prefers Davido because of Quantity

The Senegalese-American superstar singer, Akon, has said he preferred the Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Davido to the Grammy award-winning Burna Boy because of quantity rather than quality.

Akon expressed this opinion in an interview with an American radio host, sway, saying Davido, “beats the others with quantity versus quality. Therefore, he had his method. Everybody has their method.”

“So Davido was the underdog. But he had the support of a wealthy family so he was able to come up every week with a new song, new video, so he just kept coming. He has more songs more than any Afrobeats,” Akon said.

While he referred to Davido as a ‘beast,’ he said he deserved more accolades than he had received so far.

Speaking on Wizkid, Akon described him as a superstar who is one of those guys that put up one record a year and the record lasts a whole year. He is a born star without a doubt.”
