Bayero University Kano (BUK) is striving hard to seek a better future for its students as it endeavours to prepare them for life after school and work life.
Living up to this billing, the University has collaborated with Certified Chartered Accountants of United Kindom by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the body.
The signing came up this February at the University campus as BUK officials, led by the Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, Professor Aminu Muhammad, met with UK team leader and Key Account Manager, Northern Region, Mrs Mopelola Jatto, to seal the partnership.
Professor Muhammad, while speaking, described the partnership as one of the important linkages that give BUK students the upper hand in their academic journey even after graduation.
The Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, expressed happiness in choosing BUK to be among the universities that would collaborate with ACCA.
He added, “โฆyour visit came at a time when the University was shifting from teaching theory to preparing students to be ready for the outside University.”
Responding, Jatto disclosed, “We partner with Nigerian Universities to support faculties and departments, and we provide highly discounted amounts when it comes to registration.”
