Enugu State University of Technology (ESUT) and Eastwing Aviation Institute (EAI), Enugu are working to develop Aircraft Engineering technology in the South-East region of Nigeria.

To cement this development, both institutions have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to open more doors to empower youths from the Southeastern part of the country by giving them a chance to thrive in the aviation sector.
During the signing, the Vice Chancellor, Professor Aloysius-Michael Okolie said, “… there is no doubt that coming together of ESUT and EAI will produce graduates of Aircraft Engineering Technology who will perform according to global standard and surpass their counterparts in the world of aviation.”
The Provost/Chief Executive Officer of EAI, Dr Edeh Okechukwu, said the development excited him, saying, “Our youths in Southeast, Nigeria and beyond can seize the opportunity to develop themselves, adding collaboration will give students all they need to excel in the aviation industry.”
