Fathia Balogun Reverts to Marital Name

The Nollywood thespian, Fathia Balogun, has reverted to her marital name, which she dropped sometimes ago. Fans and Nigerians were surprised when she addressed herself as Fathia Balogun, in a recent Instagram post while apologizing to Nigerians and fans for having left the social media scene for a while.

The actress recently lost her father who died at the age of 80, expressing her sincere gratitude to all her fans who stood by her during the demise of her old one.

Fathia disclosed that she would intimate her fans and beloved ones of the burial arrangement soon, promising that she would coming back strong.

For addressing herself as Fathia Balogun, lots of her fans expressed hope that she might reunite with her ex- husband, Saheed Balogun.

It would be recalled that the actress dropped her marital name only to pick up her maiden name, William, when the protracted feud with her husband could not be amicably settled proved abortive.

Both Fathia and Saheed settled for divorce on issues bothering on infidelity and battery. Although it was rumoured sometimes that the two enstranged couple were back together again, only for Saheed to clear the air that the relationship would never happen.

Saheed had since remarried, having four children, while both Nollywood stars had two children for each other.
