The mock examination of University Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has been rescheduled to take place on April 18, 2023.
According to Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) this was to make up for the technical hitch experienced when the examination was first held on March 30, 2023 in 725 centres across the nation.
It could be recalled that many students who had gone to their centres to sit for the examination couldn’t do so, while some who were billed to take the exam earlier in the day were asked to wait till the evening before they could sit for their exam.

The new arrangement by the Board will give those who were denied the chance to sit for their examination another opportunity to do so.
Meanwhile, the result of candidates who were lucky to sit for the exam on Thursday March 30 has been released, while the exam body has shifted the conduct of UTME 2023 from Sat April, 29, 2023 to Tuesday 25, April to Tuesday May 2, 2023.
According to the Board, the development takes into consideration other matters of national importance.
