The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has warned candidates against patronizing third parties for JAMB-related services.
The warning was issued through JAMB’s official handle, @JAMBHQ, to alert candidates of the risks of fraud.
According to JAMB, fraudsters target desperate and gullible Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) candidates with false promises.
They claim to assist candidates in securing their 2024 UTME results without registered SIM cards.
JAMB has identified some alleged fraudsters and vowed to prosecute them. The suspects are believed to be working with an identified Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre.
This warning comes as 24,535 candidates prepare to sit for a supplementary exam on June 21 and 22, 2024, in 18 centres across Akwa Ibom, Delta, Edo, and Kwara States.
