The LASUBEB Basic Education Quality Assurance department, headed by Honourable Owolabi Falana, a Permanent Board Member of SUBEB, recently visited Corona School Gbagada, Lagos.
The purpose was to seek additional support to address some of the challenges identified in State Public Primary Schools.
This visit was part of the ongoing 100-school visit exercise conducted by the BEQA department.
During the visit, there were introductions and a briefing on the purpose of the visit held at Corona School Gbagada.
The BEQA department recognized the significant role of private schools in Lagos State and commended the exceptional performance of private school learners, attributing it to thorough supervision, monitoring, and quality assurance.
The delegation toured the classrooms and the entire facility, observing various class sessions including those of Years 1, 3, and 6.
They were impressed by the high standard of the facility and the overall environment, acknowledging the commendable work being done by Corona Schools.
This successful visit marks a step towards fostering more productive interactions between the public and private education sectors in Lagos state. It highlights Corona Schools’ commitment to providing world-class education, which was duly recognized by the LASUBEB delegation.
