Late Acceptance of Transfer Offer Costs Candidates Admission

The University of Lagos has said it was unable to propose the admission of candidates who were unable to accept transfer offers to new programmes as year 2022/2023 admission exercise has closed.

In a statement issued by the institution entitled Closure of 2020/2023 Admission Exercise, the university explained it could not propose such transfer offers because students could not accept the transfer offer into new programmes on time, and that some candidates chose to accept the offer at their leisure time, thereby lingering their admission process.

The statement further said the university would continue to propose on JAMB CAPS the admission of candidates who accepted the transfer offers of new programmes until the deadline of Friday May 12, 2023.

Meanwhile the institution warned that the admission of candidates who accept transfer

offers after the deadline would not be proposed, making such candidates to forfeit admission.
