The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted Madonna University, Nigeria, approval for the implementation of new academic programmes.
This endorsement followed an assessment conducted by a team of NUC experts who evaluated the University’s capacity to administer the proposed programmes in terms of human and physical resources. The resulting positive evaluation led to the official approval of Madonna University.
This accreditation was conveyed in a letter dated October 31, 2023, signed by the Acting Director of Academic Planning on behalf of the Acting Executive Secretary. The letter was addressed to the Vice Chancellor, Prof Uchenna C. Anyanwu, who welcomed this development as “a positive step and a confirmation of the institution’s unwavering commitment to achieving excellence in providing high-quality education.”

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D.)
B.Sc. Software Engineering
B.Sc. Cyber Security
B.Sc. Broadcasting
B.Sc. Public Relations
B.Sc. Information and Media Studies
B.Sc. Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution.
Postgraduate Programs:
PGD, M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Computer Education
PGD, M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Anatomy
PGD, M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Physiology
LL.M. and Ph.D. in Law
M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry
M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy
M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technology
M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Microbiology
M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology
M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Clinical Pharmacy
Ph.D. in Microbiology
These new programmes will be offered across the University’s campuses starting from the 2023/2024 academic session.
