The authority of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has promised that no students of the institution will drop out due to the recently reviewed obligatory fees.
This was contained in a statement released by the University, signed by the Head Communication Unit on behalf of University of Lagos Management.
It added that provisions had been made for indigent students who are unable to make payment of the obligatory fees to register with the Dean, Students Affairs Division (DSA) for further processing.
The statement reads in part, ” Kindly be assured that all UNILAG students who take advantage of the installment option and pay the first installment will be eligible to ballot for the hostel accommodation.”
The University said it was open for discussion with actual university students ( who are currently on break) whenever the need arises.
“All…students are enjoined to note that the University is here to serve them in their educational journey to becoming the best visions of themselves and beacon of excellence for their community and the nation,” it said.
