UNILAG Architecture Programme under Accreditation

The National University Commission (NUC) stormed the University of Lagos yesterday for the accreditation of its Architecture programme.

According to the UNILAG Communication Unit, the 3- main delegation paid a courtesy visit to the office of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, in the company of the Director of Academic Planning, Professor Olusoji Ilori, Dean Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Professor M.M Omini among others.

While welcoming the team, Professor Ayodele Atsenuwa along with Mrs Makinde, welcomed the team and reiterated the university’s commitment to keep to NUC standard.

Professor Atsenuwa assured the delegation that the department would be ready to cooperate and make available all requirements to the guidelines of the Commission.

She added that the institution was open to more advice that would lead to improvement in the programme.

Responding, the Chairman NUC delegation, Professor C.B Chukwuali, recognized the warm reception it received from the management of the institution.

He stated that the accreditation team would work in line with NUC guidelines and give recommendations where necessary.
