In it’s commitment to improve the quality of education in it’s institution, The Quality Assurance Unit of University of Ilorin has disclosed the launch of a virtual lecturer evaluation platform. According to a release by the Office of the Public Relations Officers, Students’ Union, University of Ilorin, the platform is designed to measure the job delivery of lecturers and provide useful feedback to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
The release said further that the virtual means of evaluation provides ease of of communication and anonymity for students who wish to rate lecturer’s performance.
It conceals the identity of students who provides feedback, this ensuring honest and objective evaluation.
To access the platform student are to follow a link where they will drop their ratings and leave it for the management to utilise.
The management will use the result to identify areas for improvement and provide necessary supports for the lecturers.
Students are encouraged to utilise the opportunity to provide constructive feedback and contribute to the improvement of the quality of teaching and learning of the university.
