The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin in Kwara state, Nigeria, Professor Wahab Egbewole, SAN, has commended Qudus Owoyemi for his outstanding accomplishment in establishing a new global record as the fastest individual to perform five skin fade haircuts.
According to reports from Unilorin Bulletin, Owoyemi achieved the remarkable feat in precisely 14 minutes, 56 seconds, and 83 milliseconds, surpassing the previous record of 18 minutes and 57 seconds. Owoyemi, boasting a CGPA of 4.87, accomplished this feat amid enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
A 400-level student in the Department of Statistics at the University of Ilorin, Owoyemi has now officially set a new world record for the swiftest completion of five skin fade haircuts.
The event, which unfolded on January 25, 2024, at the University, garnered the presence of the Sub-Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Garba, and the Students Union President, Mr. Joseph Ologundudu. The achievement is poised to be recognized by the Guinness World Book of Records.
The Vice Chancellor expressed that this accomplishment further underscores the university’s dedication to excellence and innovation.
