Two students of University of Lagos, Jinadu Temitope Olamide and Patrick Delight Kechukwu, have emerged successful after being shortlisted in the Erasmus KA171+ exchange programme selection process for the 2023-2024 academic year of Halic University, Instanbul, Turkey.
The two successful students achieved the feat after rigorous screening process with other candidates from Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Morocco, Albania and Bangladesh.
In the selection process, Olamide, a 200 level student of Electrical Electronic Engineering scored 82.7, while Kechukwu, a 400 level student of the same department, scored 78.7.
Students results were calculated by ranking the Erasmus Grades, which is calculated by 50% of the students’ GPA (out of hundredth) + 50% of the English Proficiency Score of the students, from highest to lowest.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, congratulated the successful students, wishing them success in their academic pursuit.
Earlier this year, the office of International Relations Partnerships and Prospect of University of Lagos had announced the call for applications from Halic University.
