After obtaining an incredible 4.00 cumulative grade point from Cedar Hill High School, United States, a 15-year old brilliant black girl, Dionn Meggison, has been offered $1.6 million worth of scholarship. The mouth-watering sum is worth a scholarship to 38 universities and colleges across the US, as Meggison becomes the youngest student to graduate from the school with an impressive grade point average, spending 51 college hours in total.
She could achieve this feat because she participated in a dual credit programme through Cedar Hill High School and Dallas College.
The brilliant young girl, besides being outstanding in her studies, also took part in high school activities, as well as served as National Honour Society 22-23 Parliamentarian and Gear Up Ambassador.
She was also a member of the Spanish Club and Business Professionals of America, spending three years in the dance department, and one year on Cedar Hill High School’s Highsteppers dance team.
Dionne intends to attend Texas Woman’s University, United States, which offers her $11,000 per year, to study Finance.
She was also awarded $500 from J2A Scholarship, and $1,000 from the Best Southwest Partnership Scholarship.
Speaking, Meggison says, “I’m looking forward to completing my bachelor’s degree before age 18, and a master’s degree before age 21.”
