There will not be a hiding place any longer for students of Yaba College of Technology who want to indulge in cultism, rape, gangsterism and other psychosocial behaviour that may soil the image of the school.
This was the warning issued by the Rector of the foremost technology school in the institution recently, Dr. Eng. Ibrahim Abdul, who expressed the intention of the college to descend heavily on any student perpetrating such evil.
Speaking, Dr Abdul warned the Yabatech community to shun these social vices as the authority of the school will use the full weight of the law to fight any students or group of students found culpable.
He advised female students to be security conscious at any forum and bring any form of covert evil act and harassment against them to the notice of the school authority.
The Rector vowed to clamp down seriously on any issues relating to cultism, rape sexual harassment, and indecent act carried out by any student of the college.
Dr Abdul directed the students to study their handbook and familiarise themselves with rules and regulations guiding their stay in the college.
