The Rector of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) Dr. Engr. Ibraheem Adedotun, has assured the leaders of Epe community that the institution will train their youths on Information Communication Technology (ICT).
He made this disclosure at a crucial meeting with Odoragushi community in Epe, Lagos State, held in the presence of the matriarch of the Otedolas, Lady Doja Otedola, while paying visit to the community.

Dr Adedotun disclosed that the training will comprise repair of phone, sale of phone, after sale service and other areas in Information Communication Technology under the National Board of Technical Education’s Nigerian Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF).
He expressed further that YABATECH is collaborating with Mobile Telecommunication Network (MTN) on the act of repairing phones, and after training certified trainees will be equipped with tools to work with free of charge.
He also promised that a foundation school will be constituted in Epe campus of YABATECH where secondary school holders will have the opportunity to gain admission into the school automatically.
