The Lagos State Examination Board has announced that the screening test for admission of Primary six pupils into the 16 state model colleges/upgraded Junior Secondary Schools (JSSs) with boarding facilities for the 2024/2025 academic session starts April 8 and will last till April 12, 2024.
This is contained in a release signed by the Director/Registrar, Lagos State Examinations Board, Adebayo Orunsolu.
According to the release, only primary six pupils from public and private schools are eligible to seek admission into any of the State model colleges/upgraded JSSs.
The model colleges upgraded JSSs are Lagos State Junior Model College Meiran; Badagry Junior Grammar School, Badagry; Government Junior College, Ikorodu; Lagos State Junior Model College, Badore; Epe Junior Grammar School, Epe among others.
The entrance examinations into the 16 State Model Colleges/Upgraded JSSs will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) only.
The Board will be available at some locations to offer assistance to the parents and guardians in registering their children/wards for the entrance examination between Monday, April 8, and Friday, April 12, 2024.
The locations where to offer assistance are The Secretariat, Alausa Ikeja; Abesan Comprehensive College, Alimosho; Fagba Junior Grammar School, Ifako Ijaiye; Yewa Junior High School, Agege; United Junior High School Ikorodu; and LGA, Itamarun, Epe.
Candidates are to supply one blue or red background passport photograph, and their biodata, and can register to login into the portal: https://examsboard.lagosstate.gov.ng and follow the guidelines as indicated by clicking on SCREENING TEST.
