The Vice Chancellor of Yobe State University, Damaturu, Prof. Mala M. Daura, has announced the approval of automatic admission into one-year intensive diploma programs for UTME applicants who were unable to secure admission during the 2023/2024 undergraduate admission process.
This opportunity is available to applicants from all seventeen local governments of the state.
As part of the approval, the university has released the list of the first batch of students eligible for the program. The university authority has advised affected students to visit the school for further information.
This opportunity is also open to 2023 UTME students whose names are not on the list or who did not select Yobe State University but are interested in the one-year diploma program.
Successful completion of the program will qualify them for direct entry admission into the 200-level by the next academic session.
Candidates without a 2023 UTME registration number can also apply for the program. They must have a minimum of three credits in O’level WAEC/NECO or NABTEB. Interested applicants can apply using the provided link.
