The Federal University of Oye-Ekiti has hinted the university community about what its priorities will be in the year 2024.
This was contained in the New Year message by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Abayomi Fashina, where he disclosed that the University would consolidate on the agenda it set when the administration came on board.

The VC noted that the University would work more on providing infrastructural development, incentives and conducive environment that would promote teaching-learning.
He added that the institution would work on the completion of Faculty of Law main building and commencement of the University Senate Building.
According to him the University shall also create additional faculties such as Faculty of Information and Computing, Innovation Hubs on both campuses as well as digitalize FUOYE.
He expressed that there would be specialized trainings for all sections of the University, comprising bursary, registry and works departments to enhance the productivity of all sectors.
He hinted that the institution awaits in 2024 the 8th Convocation Ceremony where the University community would play host to important dignatories like National Assembly members, and the Registrar of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Professor Is-haq Oloyede, who shall deliver the Convocation Lecture.
