Professor Oloyede disclosed this while going round to monitor the conduct of the exams in some centres in Abuja.
Candidates numbering up to 260,000 sat for the Mock Exam across 793 Computer-Based Test Centres across the federation, disclosed Professor Oloyede.
Oloyede expressed his gratitude that the examination was seemless nationwide, adding JAMB also successfully conducted a recruitment examination for the Nigerian Police Force on Wednesday March 6 which was held across 411 centres in the country.
He mentioned that issues in about three or four places were identified and were put under control.
He disclosed that 1.98 million candidates registered for the main 2024 UTME, and more than 260,000 candidates took part in the Mock Exam.
Commenting on the main exam, the Registrar expressed that the Board was ready; and that it was doing some internal revolution, having been apprehensive of the workability.
“We can now say we have arrived. What we said to ourselves about six years ago, seven years ago, we have been able to achieve today,” said JAMB Registrar.
