The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has rescheduled the zonal attitude test for Trades and Non-Tradesmen/women, initially set for January 6, 2024, to now take place on January 13, 2024.
This decision was communicated through a press release issued by Edward Gabkwet, Air Vice Marshal and Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF.
In the announcement, NAF emphasized that all other particulars of the recruitment process remain unchanged. The organization expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the postponement and assured applicants that the necessary arrangements are being made to ensure a smooth and fair testing process.
As a brief background, the Nigerian Air Force, established on April 18, 1964, is the air arm of the Nigerian Armed Forces. It holds the distinction of being the youngest branch of the country’s military and stands as one of the largest in Africa, boasting a personnel strength of over 18,000 as of 2021.
The primary mandate of the NAF, outlined in the Air Force Act 1964, is to defend the Federal Republic by air, encompassing both aerial and ground duties for its trained personnel.
