The new academic session of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, (ABU) shall commence on Sunday Nov. 26, 2023.
This was contained in a special bulletin signed by the management of the university which also slated the consideration of resist examination by faculty boards for between Monday, Nov 27 to Saturday, Dec 2, 2023.

Registration for the new and returning students shall commence from Monday, Dec. 4 to Saturday, Dec.16, 2023, while the institution shall observe its Christmas and New Year Break from Monday, Dec. 18 to Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024.
According to the management of the University, the first semester examinations shall come up from Monday, April 15 to Saturday, May 4, 2024.
It further announced that the institution shall resume for the second semester on Sunday May 19, 2024, noting that all national public holiday will be adhered to.
