Federal University of Oye Ekiti has released its revised 2023/2024 academic calendar.
According to Special Adviser Media to the Vice Chancellor, Wole Balogun, the session kicks off On Oct. 23, 2023.

The revised calendar revealed that fresh and returning students of the University are expected to resume for online registration from Monday Oct. 23, which will last till Friday Oct. 27, 2023.
Lectures commence immediately on resumption for returning students, while fresh students shall start receiving lectures from Oct. 30, 2023.
Registration is scheduled for all returning students from Nov.6 to 10, while matriculation ceremony for fresh students are scheduled to hold on Nov. 16 for fresh students in Oye, main campus, and Nov 17 for students in Ikole campus.
However, late registration attracts penalty for both fresh and returning students as all fresh students must complete payment of their dues before their matriculation ceremonies.
End of the year break for all students begin Dec. 22, 2023 and lasts till Monday Jan. 8, 2024 when lectures for all students will resume and last till Friday, January 19, 2024.
The semester break takes effect from Feb. 19, 2024, running through March 29, while the examinations come up for all students from Monday, Jan. 29, ending on Sat. Feb. 17, 2024.
The management also announced that the second semester kicks off April 2, 2024, while examinations commences Monday 24, June and end Saturday July 13, 2024, as second semester break comes up Monday July, 15 and end Saturday Sept. 21, 2024.
