Crescent University, Abeokuta, Ogun State has employed Oladejo Azeez, former Registrar of the University of Lagos as director of Special Duties. His tenure at Crescent University officially commenced on November 1, 2023.
Upon his arrival, Azeez received a warm welcome from the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibraheem Gbajabiamila, who was accompanied by the university’s Registrar, Barr. Zakariyya Ajibola.
In an official communication circulated by the Registrar, it was announced that Azeez, drawing on his extensive three-decade-long experience in university administration, has been appointed as the Director of Special Duties. This one-year sabbatical is intended to harness Azeez’s wealth of expertise to contribute significantly to the academic and moral excellence of Crescent University.
“Barrister Oladejo Azeez will be dedicating a one-year sabbatical period to the university, commencing November 1, 2023, in the capacity of Director, Special Duties,” remarked Ajibola.
A legal professional, Azeez holds a Master of Law (LLM) and a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the University of Lagos. He is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and a certified Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management.
Additionally, Azeez boasts academic achievements, having earned a Master of Science (MSc) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mass Communication from the same university where he initially began his academic journey.
